Admission Criteria at Alliance Academy

Programs Offered

Applications are invited for admission to undergraduate programs in:

  • LLB
  • Computer Science
  • Accounting and Finance
  • Management Admission Requirements
  • Applicants must primarily be students who sat for the Ethiopian Higher Education Entrance Examination (EHEEE) in 2024 GC (2017 EC) for the first time. • Applicants who sat for the EHEEE starting from 2014 EC will also be considered only if seats are available.
  • Minimum EHEEE result requirements: o For 2024 GC (2017 EC) applicants: 300 and above (all regions). o For earlier years (2014–2016 EC), admission will follow the entry requirements of the respective year:
    • 2014 EC: Natural Science – 350/700, Social Science – 300/600
    • 2015 EC: Natural Science – 350/700, Social Science – 300/600
    • 2016 EC: Natural Science – 350/700, Social Science – 300/600
  • Those who passed the national remedial exam conducted by MOE in 2025 GC/2017 EC successfully.
  • Applicants must upload an EHEEE result printout clearly showing their admission number and their name and stream. At the time of registration, the original and copies of the EHEEE certificate and Grade 9–12 transcripts must be presented.
  • An application fee of non-refundable 1,000 Birr must be paid, and the receipt uploaded.
  • Payment can be made via: o Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), Account Number: 1000683668498 o Telebirr (barcode available on the application portal).
  • Applications will only be considered complete once all required information and documents are uploaded and submitted. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
  • Online application opens on September 20, 2025.

How to Apply

Follow these steps to complete your application for the Jimma University – ABH Joint Undergraduate Programs at Alliance Academy:

    1. Click “Apply Now” below. You will be redirected to the official Jimma University Application Portal.
    2. Create an Account & Sign In, then Click “Show Detail” → “Apply Now” → Register for a new account.
    3. Select Your Program:  Choose the program you wish to apply for.
    4. Fill Out the Application Form: Provide accurate personal, academic, financial, and contact information.
    5. Pay the Application Fee of non-refundable (ETB 1,000): Choose one of the following payment options:
        • Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) – Account Number: 1000683668498
        • Telebirr – Upload the payment receipt or back reference number.
    6. Prepare & Upload Required Documents: Upload each document separately in PDF format on the JU portal:
      • Valid EHEEE result certificate
      • Remedial certificate- for those who took remedial in 2017 EC only
      • Grade 9–12 transcripts
      •  Proof of application fee payment with reference number
    7. Review & Submit: Confirm all details and uploaded documents are correct, then click Submit to complete your application.
